Day 26 - Santa Fe

My crooked little shadow.

According to the little plaque on the wall, this is the oldest house in the United States. It seems to me there are much older houses in Mesa Verde, but I'll leave the splitting of hairs to the cranky old people in charge of plaques.

San Miguel Church - downtown Santa Fe. Comes with moonrise - pigeons not optional.

Equivalent of the bad hair day.

Hopefully, just because you use the south entrance, your case isn't going south.

In Santa Fe you can truly have it all - and it's all for sale.

A quiet open air passageway - in Santa Fe there's always a little surprise around the next corner.

Emma waits patiently as we take turns visiting the Andrew Smith Gallery - "Masterpieces of Photography". Andrew's not kidding - iconic photographs are leaping off the walls.

The view from Andrew's front porch.

The courtyard at Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.

A test of CIA's new cloaking device. Light is bent around the cloaked object, making it melt into the background. It almost works.

Late day shadows on a classic adobe. Everyone here seems to sport an outdoor sculpture of some type.
